For years, I believed my given name, Tjody, was Norwegian.
( It is pronounced "Chõ-dee." )
Until, that is, I went to Norway. They'd never heard of it there. Hmmm.
It turns out my extraordinary mother simply made it up,
then told me it was Norwegian.
And for that I thank her.
I asked my sister, Amy Huber, who is a great storyteller,
to write a children's story for me to illustrate.
She did, and I include it here.
