About Tjody

For years, I believed my given name, Tjody, was Norwegian.

( It is pronounced "Chõ-dee." )

Until, that is, I went to Norway. They'd never heard of it there. Hmmm.

It turns out my extraordinary mother simply made it up,
then told me it was Norwegian.

And for that I thank her.

I asked my sister, Amy Huber, who is a great storyteller,
to write a children's story for me to illustrate.

She did, and I include it here.

( It explains rather well, how to pronounce my name. )
